District Planning for Progress

Pinellas County Schools hosted a series of community meetings across the district to share school-specific data and gather feedback on population and enrollment trends, facility planning and school utilization.

Our first grade teachers develop their curriculum based on first grade level expectations and Florida Sunshine State Standards. They involve parents, students and the community to reach the highest student achievement.
 
These teachers work hard to build foundational reading and math skills, as well as foster a love of learning in each of their students. The first grade team manages their classes to achieve high academic and behavior expectations. These important skills will help their students continue to be successful throughout their schooling.
